International Day of Charity

This 5th of September marks the International Day of Charity – A day to recognise the importance of giving, through volunteering and philanthropic activities.

Rotary is proud to have a history of engaging projects for charitable causes, including on-going programs like Rotary’s Education Assistance Fund and Volunteering Work @ Willing Hearts.

Rotary’s Education Assistance Fund seeks to provide an additional avenue of financial assistance for the less privileged. This is part of Rotary’s effort in nurturing our future generations.

Volunteering Work @ Willing Hearts is an initiative which Rotary extends our helping hand to the underprivileged. Our colleagues participate in meal preparation in their central kitchen, and these meals are subsequently sent out to the needy in our neighbourhood communities.
