COMPANY PROFILE & HISTORY

Thai Rotary Engineering Limited (TREL), established in October 1993, prides itself on being one of the very few companies in Thailand with the ability to handle engineering, procurement and construction contracts without relying on subcontractors.

The principle objective of TREL is to support the oil and gas industry in Thailand. It taps on the experiences of REL in the oil and gas industry and has local construction capability. TREL is in a position to combine the strength and resources of its shareholders to support the growing engineering, construction and maintenance requirements for this industry in Thailand. It has now diversified its operations and currently executing a project in Algeria as well.

Though one of the few construction companies in Thailand to be awarded the prestigious ISO 9001 certification, Thai Rotary managed to implement this prestigious quality system in just 10 months of preparation. In 2004, TREL obtained the ASME "U", "S" and "R" stamp accreditations. This means that TREL can now market its capability in manufacturing pressure vessels, thereby enhancing the range of services offered to its clients.

TREL performs activities in line with its parent company business and secured a turnkey contract from Thai Tank Terminal for their Phase 2 Project in 1993. Since then, TREL has been involved in numerous projects.

Premises in Thailand are built on a 25,000 sqm land area comprising the following:

• 360 sqm built-up floor area comprising Engineering Design and Administration Office building
• 10,000 sqm built up floor area Fabrication Workshop
• 864 sqm - Administration Office building
• 504 sqm - Office building for FAB and Construction
• 234 sqm - Construction Equipment Department area
