COMPANY PROFILE & HISTORY Rotary Pharma, a wholly owned subsidiary of Rotary Engineering Ltd, was established in 2002 to focus the Rotary Groups’ pharmaceutical activities in one company. All projects of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry in Singapore are now routed through this company. It will also examine investment opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector. Year 2003 will be its first full year of operation in the pharmaceutical sector. The company provides a full range of services across the value chain to local manufacturers, international companies and engineering consultants, including: Specialized piping for buildings This includes the fabrication and installation of specialized orbital welded pipes such as for process and de-ionized water within pharmaceutical buildings. Specialized electrical and instrumentation works for buildings This includes specialized works inside pharmaceutical buildings for control systems and plant automation. Offsite and Utilities We also undertake all the piping, tankage and electrical and instrumentation works for all offsite and utilities connected with pharmaceutical plants. Modular plant design and construction Rotary Pharma will use its engineering capability and fabrication yards to design and built modular plant and equipment for the pharmaceutical industry. Its workshop in Tuas, located in the heart of the industry, will be the main fabrication yard for the modular concept. It will be equipped with clean room facilities and have orbital welding capability.
