This was the first year that Powell Industries Asia participated in the Bowling Tournament organised by Rotary Engineering Ltd. It was held at Chevron, Jurong East on September 2002.

About 25 teams participate in the tournament and Powell Industries Asia got into the 5th position. It was a surprise to everyone since the team members did not practice at all prior to this event. Not bad for our first Bowling Tournament. Three CHEERS for Powell.
