Thai Rotary Engineering Public Company Limited ("TREL"), a subsidiary of Rotary Group of Companies, is well established as an Engineering Design & Construction Works Company to offer a wide range of capabilities in construction, erection & maintenance of tanks for the Oil & Gas, Petroleum, Petrochemical & Pharmaceutical industries.


Located in Banchang-Rayong, Thailand, it has grown from a modest shop fabrication set-up to an integrated engineering, procurement and construction (“EPC”) company with proven track records in both local and regional markets.

With the support of our parent company, we are able to provide full-fledged Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Maintenance services in various scales for projects both regionally and globally. As a specialist in liquid storage, we have an established track record in Map Tha Phut Petrochemical Area in Rayong province. More recently, we have ventured into the LNG space, and are at present building two 160,000m3 LNG storage tanks in Rayong.

We are ISO 9001 & TIS/OHSAS 18001 certified. Our fabrication facility in Rayong is accredited with the full suite of ASME “S”, “PP”, "U" & “U2”, and also National Board “R” & “NB” stamps for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, separators fabrication works. This demonstrates our dedication to continuous improvement and superior performance in all aspects of our business.

We are able to provide a wide range of services covering both field construction and shop fabrication works.

For field construction, we are able to undertake EPC for all types of storage tanks for oil & gas, petrochemical, water and other products in accordance with the relevant API design codes. We are able to execute projects for both atmospheric and cryogenic tanks.

For shop fabrication, we are capable of fabricating static equipment such as shell & tube heat exchangers, fin tube exchangers, low and high pressure vessels, columns & etc.

Our team has decades of experience in handling various materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex, high alloy steel and etc. Single equipment fabrication of skids and modular fabrication & assembly of structures are part of our proud expertise. With the support of our in-house engineers, we are fully capable to be your one-stop fabrication partner.

We are also able to undertake jobs of all sizes, big or small, long or short. We also have deep experience in inland and sea transportation for special-sized cargo. In fact, the biggest fabricated vessel that was completed and delivered from our workshop to the port measures 8 meters in height with a length of 40 meters!


Rotary has a total of 5 fabrication workshops spanning across key regions in the Middle East and Southeast Asia, strategically align with our group’s direction for the support of our multinational projects with our unique execution plans. Apart from providing fabrication support to our EPCM services in these regions, our workshops are fully equipped with capabilities to support fabrication projects as required by our clients worldwide.

Occupying a combined total area of more than 30 hectares, these 5 workshops are capable of fabricating more than 1.2 million DB of piping, 8,000 tonnes of structural steel, and 45,000 tonnes of plates rolling per year. With our effort in expanding our presence in the Middle East, we are expecting our 6th workshop to be completed in Fujairah, UAE by Q3 2017.

Fabrication Facilities in Banchang, Rayong, Thailand.


We are equipped with a full range of equipment for static equipment fabrication.

In addition, we are also able to provide blasting or painting services which will be done inside our enclosed blasting chambers - using steel grits or other types of materials, as per client's requirements.

Equipment such as tank hydraulic jacking systems, roof lifting hoists, mobile cranes and welding sets are readily available for site erection.

Our construction is planned to ensure safest operations while maximizing quality. Our team is trained and experienced in both conventional and new methodologies.

For tank erection, we are not just able to employ the conventional bottom-up method; we are also able to erect top-down using our hydraulic jacking systems.

For fabrication, we are equipped with semi-automated welding systems for both vertical & horizontal seams, as well as flat bottom weld seams. We also invested in semi-automatic plasma gouging machines & weld bead shaver machines which speed up the gouging and grinding works, while at the same time, are able to control the surface finish of each weld.

In addition, we have inner bore welding machines to provide us with productive butt welding between tube of shell and tube heat exchanger. For the overlay welding of internal walls of pipes, we are able to go down to the smallest diameter of 0.5 to 1 inch with the help of our pipe inner wall welding machines.
